These pictures are of my dear friend Faira. She's a beautiful, spunky girl and I tried to capture that with these shots. She also has an excellent smile/lips, so I tried to catch that as well. We went to another nearby park for this shoot. I took a lot more shots than what I posted here, but because of the time of day we did the shoot, some of the lighting wasn't as ideal as I would have hoped.

I have been wanting to do something like this for a long time. I know that everybody does pictures like this, but I wanted to, so I did. These were taken from an overpass by my house. I think they turned out pretty good.

This is my gorgeous friend, Jenelle. She's got the longest, most luxurious hair of anybody I know. I took her to one of my favorite spots to shoot: Layton Park. It's such a beautiful park. It's green and full of lots of great places to take pictures.

 

Event: Mike & Penelope Howard's Reception

These are pictures from Mike & Penelope Howard's wedding reception. Due to poor lighting (sorry Mike & Penny, but it's true) I didn't get many good candid shots, which sucks because that's what I was there to do. But, at least I got some good posed shots. I'm most proud of the rings in the bouquet shot. And look! It's actually a picture of me!

Model: Daisia Harrison

Daisia is a very good friend of mine who is probably the most photogenic person I know and she loves to have her picture taken. It's a perfect combination for a photographer. This was my first individual shoot. I think it turned out pretty good.
